A Broad, Vessel-Specific Inspection
The inspection is adapted to the vessel’s construction, machinery, equipment and access. Accessible hull and deck structures, propulsion machinery, electrical systems, plumbing, steering, tankage, safety equipment and installed systems are examined within the agreed scope.
Haul-Out and Sea Trial
A haul-out allows the underwater body, appendages, running gear and through-hull fittings to be examined. A sea trial provides an opportunity to observe machinery and systems under operating conditions. These elements are normally recommended for a meaningful pre-purchase assessment.
Clear Findings
Material findings are discussed in practical language and organized in the written report. The objective is to distinguish significant defects from routine maintenance and normal cosmetic wear.

What the Survey Does Not Replace
A marine survey is not a disassembly inspection or an engine manufacturer’s internal mechanical evaluation. Specialist engine diagnostics, oil analysis, rigging inspection and other services can be coordinated separately when appropriate.
